Before You Start
Requirement | Details |
Scenarios Created | At least one scenario must be built for the deal |
Share Link Generated | Complete the share link process for the deal you want to preview |
Active Deal | The deal must be open in your Loan Officer view |
Step-by-Step: Viewing the Client Experience
1. Switch to Client View
From your Loan Officer view, locate the view toggle in the upper area of the screen
Click Client View to switch perspectives
2. Review What Your Client Sees
Element | Client Experience |
Name Display | Shows the client's name instead of yours |
Scenarios | Visible and clickable for review |
Properties | View-only access to property details |
Education Center | Not visible to clients |
Video Library | Not visible to clients |
3. Understand the Summary vs. Expanded View
Clients initially see a simplified summary with just the essentials:
Summary View Shows | What It Includes |
Sales Price | Property purchase price |
Loan Amount | Total amount being financed |
Monthly Payment | Principal, interest, taxes, insurance |
Cash to Close | Total funds needed at closing |
⚠️ Important: The summary view is intentional. It prevents information overload and lets borrowers digest key numbers first before exploring details.
When clients want more information, they click to expand and see everything that will appear on their Closing Disclosure (CD).
4. Check Property Information Access
Click into the Properties section
Verify property photos and details display correctly
Confirm clients can view but not edit scenario data
