Step-by-Step: Viewing the Client Experience

3. Understand the Summary vs. Expanded View

Clients initially see a simplified summary with just the essentials:

Summary View Shows

What It Includes

Sales Price

Property purchase price

Loan Amount

Total amount being financed

Monthly Payment

Principal, interest, taxes, insurance

Cash to Close

Total funds needed at closing

⚠️ Important: The summary view is intentional. It prevents information overload and lets borrowers digest key numbers first before exploring details.

When clients want more information, they click to expand and see everything that will appear on their Closing Disclosure (CD).

4. Check Property Information Access

  • Click into the Properties section

  • Verify property photos and details display correctly

  • Confirm clients can view but not edit scenario data

  • Remember what's hidden—Education Center and Video Library are LO-only tools

  • Test on mobile—if your client will view on a phone, consider how the layout appears
