Managing Your Deals Tab

Objective

This SOP outlines the steps to effectively manage and navigate the Your Deals tab, including searching for deals, changing statuses, and creating new deals.

Key Steps

1. Overview of Your Deals Tab 0:00

  • Access the Your Deals tab from the dashboard.

  • View recent activities including purchase transactions, home proceeds estimates, and refinance deals.

2. Categories of Deals 0:20

  • Deals are categorized into:

    • Purchase Deals

    • Refinance Deals

    • Home Proceeds Estimates

  • Each category is sorted by most recent activity.

3. Searching for Deals 0:34

  • Use the search bar to find specific deals:

    • Enter the client's last name.

    • Enter the deal ID.

4. Understanding Deal Statuses 0:50

  • Deal statuses include:

    • Prospect

    • Active

    • On Hold

    • Closed

    • Withdrawn

  • Closed or withdrawn deals are moved to the inactive pipeline.

5. Accessing Inactive Pipeline 1:18

  • To view old deals, navigate to the inactive pipeline.

6. Creating a New Deal 1:45

  • You can create a new deal directly from the Your Deals page.

7. Viewing Deal Details 1:52

  • Click on the deal to view details or access the deal home for that client.

8. Changing Deal Status or Deleting a Deal 2:14

  • To change the status of a deal, select the appropriate option.

  • To delete a deal, click 'Delete Deal' and confirm your choice.

    • Caution: This action is permanent and will delete all scenarios related to that deal.

Cautionary Notes

  • Deleting a deal is irreversible; ensure you have no further dealings with the client before proceeding.

  • If a client has multiple deals, deleting one will not affect their other deals.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Regularly check the active pipeline to keep track of ongoing deals.

  • Use specific keywords when searching to quickly locate deals.
