Overview
As you work with more borrowers, your deal list will grow quickly. This feature helps you stay organized by letting you move deals between active and inactive pipelines based on their current status. You can also bulk delete multiple deals at once to clean up prospects that are no longer viable.
Before You Start
Requirement | Details |
Existing deals | You need at least one deal/scenario created in your pipeline |
Pipeline access | Navigate to your main deals or pipeline view |
Step-by-Step: Changing a Deal's Status
1. Open the Deal Status Menu
Locate the deal you want to update in your pipeline
Click on the deal to access its details
Find and click the Status option
2. Select the Appropriate Status
Status | When to Use |
Prospect | Lead is still considering options, not yet committed |
Active | Deal is in progress and moving through your pipeline |
On Hold | Borrower has paused temporarily (waiting on documents, timing, etc.) |
Closed | Deal has successfully funded and completed |
Withdrawn | Borrower decided not to proceed or went elsewhere |
3. Save the Status Change
Click Save to confirm the new status
⚠️ Important: Deals marked as Closed or Withdrawn automatically move to your Inactive pipeline. They won't appear in your Active view until you switch pipelines.
Viewing Active vs. Inactive Deals
Switching Between Pipelines
Pipeline | What You'll See |
Active | Prospects, in-progress deals, and on-hold loans |
Inactive | Closed and withdrawn deals for historical reference |
Use the Inactive pipeline when you need to:
Review past deal data for reporting
Mine closed deals for referral opportunities
Check on withdrawn prospects who might re-engage later
Step-by-Step: Bulk Deleting Deals
1. Access Bulk Delete Mode
Navigate to your Active or Inactive pipeline
Click Bulk Delete
2. Select Deals to Remove
Click the checkbox next to each deal you want to delete
Select multiple borrowers as needed
3. Confirm Deletion
Click Delete to remove all selected deals at once
⚠️ Important: Deleted deals cannot be recovered. Consider moving deals to Inactive (via Closed or Withdrawn status) if you might need the data later.
Quick Reference
View Pipeline → Click Deal → Change Status → Save → Deal moves to Active/Inactive automatically
Bulk Delete: Click Bulk Delete → Select multiple deals → Delete entire selection
Tips for Success
Clean up regularly—set a weekly or monthly reminder to review and organize your pipeline
Use Inactive before Delete—marking deals as Closed or Withdrawn preserves data you can mine later for referrals or re-engagement
Filter first—switch between Active and Inactive views to focus on relevant deals before making changes
Batch your cleanup—use bulk delete to remove multiple non-responsive prospects in one action instead of deleting individually
